Looking Ahead to 2026

Updated: Jan 7

iSintu saMahlabezulu

As we step into 2026, iSintu saMahlabezulu continues its journey of preserving, celebrating, and sharing AmaNdebele heritage across the UK and beyond.

The past year has strengthened our commitment to cultural continuity, community connection, and intergenerational learning. Through gatherings, heritage events, and shared cultural spaces, we have witnessed the power of culture to unite people, strengthen identity, and nurture a deep sense of belonging within the diaspora.

Our Focus for 2026

In the year ahead, we aim to:

  • Expand cultural events and community gatherings

  • Strengthen heritage education and isiNdebele language-focused activities

  • Encourage greater participation from young people and elders

  • Build stronger partnerships within the voluntary, cultural, and community sector

  • Continue developing our governance and organisational capacity

Our Commitment

iSintu saMahlabezulu remains a community-led, non-political voluntary and cultural organisation, guided by our constitution, shared values, and responsibility to future generations.

Culture remains at the heart of everything we do — lived, shared, and passed on with dignity and respect.

We thank our members, supporters, and partners for walking this journey with us. Together, we look forward to a year of growth, learning, unity, and celebration.

Culture is identity.Culture is continuity.
